The first issue is I'd like to put into the planning committee the issue of Capitol Road projects for major corridors. These are for the corridors that the city owns, not the state, and our ability to maintain maintenance on those, such as Citation, Man of War, Reynolds Road, Alumni, things that we own that we have to maintain because the issue is none of us will ever have enough money in our neighborhood resurfacing dollars to pave one of those roads. So we need to get on a better maintenance schedule and identify those corridors and put money towards it each year in the budget so we can actually keep our major corridors up to speed in terms of paving. So I want to put that into planning. So the motion is to put capital resurfacing or capital projects? For major corridors. Okay. Major. All right. Since we've had some time from that last pass, I know we also received an e-mail from the other side of the table that have also offered possibly a compromise to going back to home fleet. So I was just curious when they would get around to it. And if we need a presentation at a work session or just to let all the council members know how that's going to work. Which area was that? Call 311-PAT, Tatum, and then we're putting a list together on complaint-driven. And as of right now, how it's working is our street folks pick them up, and they will monitor the inmates. And then once the bags are full, then our solid waste guys will come around and pick up the bags. So it's been working real well. We've done a lot of street the last couple weeks, and we're getting a lot of good feedback on it. But any time you get a street you need, just call 311, and we'll get it on the list. I guess I was just wondering how we track our list, And does that include every street in Fayette County? Well, it's the biggest complaint. I mean, over the years we've had like Fussell's Road and Todd's Road. We've had some problems on Todd's Road. We're going back and hit those means where we get a lot of complaints on. But we are starting to take other roads up, like, for instance, Alexandria. We did that a couple weeks ago before the football. Right, and it does look extremely low. And then we'll do a Brian Station Road and places like that. The ush mode that we've never done before that we will be taking on. So if we get that list together, we'll be glad. Matt Tatum will be putting that together. But it won't include residential streets, right? It's major. Major. Okay. That's what we're pushing for. Thank you. So, Commissioner, I know several of us have already sent streets to 311. We did some of those. We're doing a vote now. Okay. The inmates are different, totally different. I think the main thing is getting the street. I think that's what the most important thing the council wants is the street. And I think 311 is where we want to begin at 311 so they can keep the list of the streets. And then we've got a good program working to make sure the inmates get out there. So it looks like somebody was, a drunken soldier was, or a drunken sailor was driving. So if I knew, I would just let my neighbors know to get their cars off the street. Its registration begins, I believe, at 1 o'clock at the skate park in Woodland Park. And we're going to take a one-mile skate over from Woodland Park over to the WRFL green space on UK's campus. And there's going to be just a lot of great activity there. And I've been given a choice. You can rollerblade, skate, skateboard, bike, walk. I've been told I probably ought to ride my bike so that I don't break my arm, but my intent is to ride a skateboard over there. So everyone's welcome. In my memory, it's the first time I remember it being off-site, out of the LFUCG facilities, and it actually was quite wonderful. And these 31 new officers, they got to hear Judge Joe Hood, who gave quite an interesting talk, and it was just really exciting that because of actions that we took, we've got these 31 new officers on the street. So just wanted to mention that. Council Member Clark. Let me just add to that, Vice Mayor. In my mind, the outstanding part of that ceremony was the speech made by one of the candidates. It was absolutely amazing. I don't think he used a single note except when he was reading a list of people to thank. But if that's the quality of our recruits, we're certainly in good hands. Yes. Lots of folks from other states are coming here to train and become our police officers, and of course a lot of Kentucky people too, so that speaks well of our training.
