I understand that Council for Chief Weathers and Council for Sergeant Middleton desire to address the council, so I would ask you please to proceed. Yes, Madam Mayor, members of the council. After a period of time this morning, we've had an opportunity to sit down and discuss the circumstances, and we have reached a negotiated resolution of the disciplinary charges. Certainly appreciate the council being here this morning. I know it's an ordinary event. In fact, in the years that I was on the city council, I never had to appear for one of these. but all parties are in agreement and we further we have agreed to waive the statutory time frames that are in krs 15 520 with terms with with respect to uh hearing a date i think 60 days or 75 days for purposes of allowing uh council to uh prepare the necessary letter of conformity and the details of the agreement in writing which i understand will be brought back to the council and since this is coming back to you you should not discuss anything amongst yourselves or outside i said that poorly but you get the meaning i i think everybody understands not to discuss anything uh did thank you very much thank you members council yes did you need to say anything else mr Mr. Horn? I don't think so. So I will just simply ask for myself and the council, how will this come back to the council? It will come back as a conformity like you would normally see with fire and police discipline. Okay, so at the podium, a motion. And that's why you should continue not to discuss this matter. Mayor, as a formality, I think probably legally we need to release all those individuals who are sitting outside or waiting. from subpoenas, so I would suggest maybe if you, I'm requesting that the witnesses be released from their subpoenas.
