This past weekend, of course, was the 4th of July, and I just wanted to give a big shout-out to our police and fire that came out for all of the parades across the city, but especially in my neighborhood, Stonewall Subdivision. subdivision it was very nice to to see our our police and fire out in the community and playing with the kids and things like that and it was much appreciated so thank you to them thank you mayor thank you councilmember reynolds thank you mayor um we just got word that uh senator uh tom buford passed away today and um he represented jessamine county uh where i grew up and part of my district the 11th district and i always found him to be very responsive and community oriented and i met him when i was very young long time ago and was just very sad to receive the news so i know that he will be missed a lot and my sympathy goes out to his family and all the community that knows him i wanted to say that really quickly before i move on to my next item I would like to place in the Planning and Public Safety Committee a presentation on the community paramedicine program I'm interested in looking at it in detail and seeing if there's a possibility to expand it so so moved councilmember Ellinger seconds are there any questions all right all All those in favor, please say aye.
