Thank you. For the courthouse area design review board meeting. The first item in the agenda is attendance. It looks like everybody is here, but noting that Nicole Ware has stepped down from her position because of a job change. So beyond that, everyone is in attendance. The next item is approval of the November 30, 2022 minutes. I will need a motion to approve. I move to approve those minutes. Is there a second? Ken, it looks like if you spoke, you're on mute. Who seconded? I'm sorry, I missed it. I will second the motion. I should have to unmute you. That might have... Okay. Can you hear me now? Yes. Okay. Sorry about that. That's fine. So the second came from Jill. All in favor. Aye. The next item, there were no applications for authorization permits to consider at this time. And also, there was no authorization permits approved by staff since the November 30, 2022 board meeting. So there's no permits to review at this time. The next item that we do have on the agenda is the election of officers. So it feels like we just did this. but i guess we we uh do elections yearly uh for chair and vice chair um so i guess we can ask for nominations for these two positions um i also you know can talk about the chair presides at all meetings and public hearings of the board. They have the ability to call special meetings and shall act as the spokesperson for the board. The chair should only vote in the case of a tie. And then the vice chair shall serve as a chair during the temporary absence of the chair and assume their duties. So those are the two positions that we're looking for. And I guess we can just talk about it. Since there's so few of us on the board. And I'm not allowed to hold one of the positions. So that leaves the three of you. Karen, are you willing to stay on for one more year since you didn't do a full year? yeah yeah i'm willing to stay on for another year oh now can be chair do we need to cycle through if you can i can remain chair and jill or ken do either of you want to be vice chair so what's the vice chair i'd be willing to be the vice chair okay i'm something from aaron yeah i don't think that'd be good to have only been on a short time so i don't think i'd be a good chairperson well okay so i i guess i move to nominate aaron masterson as chair and ken ken how do you pronounce your last name michael michael and ken michael as vice chair of the courthouse area design review board for the upcoming year yeah and i would second the motion Okay. All in favor? Aye. Aye. All right. Carries. The next – oh, one thing I guess, you know, I mentioned at the beginning how Nicole Ware has stepped down. So I believe we need to fill that vacancy, and she was a banking representative. So I don't know if anyone has any ideas of who maybe we can reach out to or notify about that, this rule to fill it. What's the best way? Yeah. How do these positions normally get filled? I guess that would be my question. Folks would fill out an application on the city's website. There's like a boards and commissions tab and you can go in there and fill out an application. And then it's appointed by the mayor's office. um so nicole had had recommended another person that she thought might be interested um and i think that they are planning to apply um but certainly you know more than one application would be ideal um so if anyone knows anyone you can encourage them to to go online and do that and if you were there having trouble finding that application just reach out to me and i can give more specific instructions on how to get there um but it does need to be someone in the banking field I see Tracy Jones popped in. Did I cover that sufficiently? I think so. I'm not sure what's going on. It looks like you're in here twice somehow, so maybe that's... Let me see. My link's really screwed up here on my computer. It has been since we came on. Autumn, does the banking professional, I'm guessing we'd prefer for them to be in real estate, some form of banking related to real estate would be my guess, right? I don't think that it's specified in the ordinance. It just says someone in the banking field. That might be more likely to have an interest, I would guess. You're looking for someone in the banking field or the person you have in mind is in the banking field? then they have to be in the banking field okay but the person who showed interest is is in banking now yes okay is that the only position that's vacant now i believe so so just four positions five in addition in addition to sam that's right yeah she can vote but not hold a position. Right. So it's a property owner within the courthouse area, two design representatives, and then... And then the bank, I remember what the last one is. Banking. Banking. Banking, and then one more. Maybe it may be staff. Maybe that's... Staff, yeah. Again. That makes sense. I was like, there are too many design professionals in here. Okay. Well, we don't have to make any sort of motion or decision on that. I just wanted to bring that up. But it does sound like there may be one candidate at least, hopefully. The next meeting date we have is scheduled for May 17th at 2 p.m. via video conference. and if there's nothing else, we can make a motion to adjourn from someone. I move to adjourn. I'll second. All right. Thank you all. Quick meeting. Yeah, thank you. Thanks so much. Thank you. Have a good day. Thank you. Thank you.
