Helps with and deciding what's going to actually be in the video and what we will be promoting Well, we ironically we have a meeting with them this week if i'm not mistaken. I think so. What's lpd's process for? um I guess arrests or citations or the process for you So a couple different variables there, I believe So if i'm not mistaken, I think city ordinance prohibits motor vehicles from being driven through a park except for on Railways and paths that are intended for that use So that's one piece. Um and then You have multiple things here. So I think you had mentioned previously about hours of day as well, but typically it's at night Okay, when the parks are closed, right? Yeah, so if the parks are closed, um, you know at dark with the exception of shillito I believe um, then there's a different issue there as well. So I don't know what response Your constituents may be seeing from the police Thus far but it'd be most hopeful they call us when they see it happening And we come in and address it But I think that sometimes the challenge would be for us that often when we arrive They're already gone, right? And so it's really difficult for us at that point to to handle the situation or handle the problem If they've already left the left the area I hope that helps in some way But if let's say we were to find them in violation at that time Then we have city ordinances that we could recharge for obviously if it was an adult Juvenile is a little more complicated because it's a different process for how we handle them in terms of their offenses um But then I believe there's also a state statute as well that deals with motor vehicles being driven in parks Um that we could we could you know Address that as well. But most of the time we would rely on city ordinance And so when uh residents do see this is it best to call your non-emergency or your non-emergency number non-emergency is preferable because There obviously would be other types of calls that would have greater priority most likely over something going on like that Now if it's a danger to life or property something like that then obviously call an emergency number and we would be glad to come out more expeditiously, of course, but Most of the time that'd be the non-emergency number That'd be the best way to get a hold of us or something like that And lastly, what is the non-emergency number non-emergency number is eight five nine two five eight three six zero zero Thank you so much. So i'm super excited with that. So congratulations everybody Hopefully we'll have them down again and we can tell them ourselves um, then um, unfortunately on a sad note, I do have some news of a retired lexington police officer and ninth district resident michael david murphy And his wife connie murphy were tragically killed in a parachute crash in nicholasville on sunday evening So I just wanted to tell the family How very sorry I was for their loss mike was with the department from 74 to 98 Um, and my deepest sympathies go out to their family, so I just wanted to share that. It didn't happen today, but it's gonna happen And that we do see people in the unhoused around lexington we also had a bit of a brush With a four-year-old in an unhoused person Over on martin luther king and third and so I just want the community to know that we know And uh, we will be gathering around Uh, that's why it was so important. Thank you for the crimes against children because the crime was committed today And so it was in the first district and i'm not very happy about that at all And so so many needs sheltering but one apple Can just make that whole project go under And that's what happened today And it happened to a four-year-old um so And her and the family and so, uh We're here. Council member james brown Thank you mayor I just want to take an opportunity to thank you and your team Cao's office in the finance department for uh working with us with the during the budget and the fund balance uh conversation is um You know, we have we only have so much money We have a lot of needs and then council members are trying to address those needs across our community So I just want to say thank you And your team for work with us, but then also kelly farley and our our budget analysts and shantay For the work they do and then um council members for Having a conversation. I know not everybody gets what they want I think we all try to do the best that we can With the limited resources, but I think it's good to talk it out and have civil conversations and you don't get it today You try to we'll try to get it tomorrow. So we'll just keep working at it. So so thank you all Thank you. We appreciate those comments very much council member fred brown Yeah, I think I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to uh council member james brown I think i've been through a lot of budget hearings and budget times and trying to allocate funds and I think you did a Very good job and I want to compliment you on that uh, we got through it pretty good and I think everybody was uh Uh Satisfied to some degree that uh that we're operating, uh in a physical responsibility And I just wanted to commend your leadership.
