And first up is our treasurer's report, and you should have received an updated letter of transfer about 4 o'clock yesterday. Chad is here with us. And, Chad, do you have any words of wisdom for us? None. You should have in your packet all the various financial reports as well as the amended letter of transfer. The value of the plan as of yesterday morning was $994,916,116.44, which compares to last month at $982,890,992.23. It's going in the right direction, or at least it was. Do I have a motion? Motion to accept the report and approve the transfer letter. Is there a second? Second. Thank you. Are there any questions at all while we have Chad here? Yes. Tommy Puckett. Chad, we got $8 million in cash. Is that correct? Yes. Okay. Where is that going to go? The south. That's what I thought. It hasn't been transferred yet? That has not. We've done one buy-in. It's a quarter. Oh, you do it on a quarter? Yes. It's a quarter basis. That's what you all picked. So we have to do it every quarter. What's going to happen in July is they're going to give us an amount that we can move again. And part of that will be this $8 million. And then Callen will direct us on pulling some money from one of the equity funds or multiple funds to move even more. Right now we have requested, put in their queue, $21 million. So we'll see what amount they allow us to buy into. So, once again, this is going to be a process. Okay. And this money is in what kind of an account? Are we making interest on it? Yes. It's getting four-something percent. It's cash. Okay. So, yes. To be fair, right now is the best time since 2022 to have money in cash. If you're going to do it, the timing couldn't be better. Prior to 2022, we were getting maybe 20 or 30 basis points for cash. And now it's getting some interest, so that just builds in it as well. What I will point out also, and you will see this, it's going to be in August. Because not only are we going to do what they call it a call into LaSalle, but we have another call for JPMorgan that will move cash again. But that cash will happen after we do the call for LaSalle. So it will be more money going into the cash fund. Okay. All right. I just wanted an explanation to make sure that we. Yeah. Oh, yeah. And it's going to take three, four years? And maybe longer. And maybe longer. It just depends on what. You know, we're not the only ones in the queue for LaSalle. So they just do chunks of everybody. And it's going to depend on JPMorgan selling, you know. At the beginning of my career, he was a very knowledgeable, very calm, very calming type person. I know he worked in K-9 for a while and everything, but he was a really friend and a great officer. He will be missed. Thank you for that. Jill Winings. I didn't know Jill, but Harold, when I came on centuries ago, he was in narcotics and was a narcotics officer for years and years and years. Mayor, I had no, did not work with Richard Faulkner, but I've heard from a number of colleagues, and they expressed what a great guy he was. Our condolences to his family. Thank you for that. I will also add my voice to thank and honor the officers who, and widow, who have passed. And, you know, I always kind of miss, Chief Wells would have had the years all added up, right? And this does represent a lot of years of service to our community. And I so appreciate that, because they, I think when you serve in public safety, whether it's police, fire, corrections, E911, emergency management, you always put your job first and the people first in service. And so I honor these folks. And my thoughts are with their families. So that will bring us to subcommittees. And it looks like Mr. Puckett is on the line here for two of them. The continuation of benefits, no report, which is always a good thing. The legislative subcommittee, we are meeting on Monday the 16th at 2 p.m. And since Trey is not here and I'm on the organizational subcommittee, I might as well cover that one, too. Mayor, the May CPI came out just as we got here. Increased, the inflation increased 2.4% from a year ago, increased 0.22% in May. Again, I point out that the cost of livings that we provide to retirees do not and have not kept up with the consumer price index since the changes to the COLA. And, again, I want to just make you aware, and hopefully there will be a recommendation coming from the legislative subcommittee, and I ask for you to carefully consider some type of increase for our retirees.
