However, the Traffic Engineering analysis supported reducing the speed limit on Kavanaugh Lane to 25 mph. This recommendation was based on the department's traffic study and evaluation of roadway conditions, suggesting that a lower speed limit would be appropriate for the area's characteristics.

The committee approved Traffic Engineering's recommendations.
