Public Comment

Two council members made announcements during the public comment period.

Council Member McCord 12:08 announced upcoming community events and initiatives. She highlighted the Bourbon Chase race, scheduled for October 7–8, and Second Sunday, taking place on October 9. McCord emphasized community participation in these events and noted the city's commitment to health and wellness. She also referenced a symbolic "sedentary go-nowhere parade" designed as a response to national criticism characterizing Lexington as the most sedentary city.
